- Mix completely before applying (some separation is normal), scoop a little with your finger and gently apply to the entire underarm area until absorbed.
- Soapwalla doesn’t use any unnecessary waxes or hardeners, so temperature fluctuations can alter the solidity of the deodorant but in no way compromises the effectiveness of the product.
- Simply mix well, then pop the container in your freezer for about 20 minutes until resolidified. Your Deodorant Cream will be as good as new!
Low plastic; partially compostable; reusable
I still sweat, but this deodorant keeps odor away. It has a really strong citrus scent that doesn't fade for hours. When I rub it into my armpits it disappears, and does not stain my clothing. I'd prefer a deodorant stick, but I have yet to find another natural deodorant that works, and does not stain my clothing.
I have tried the Duggan sisters powder deodorant which I loved at first, but then realized the bicarbonate sodium caused a nasty rash no matter how little I used :( So I decided to give this sensitive skin deodorant a try, and omg I am glad I did! It doesn't contain BS so I have had ZERO irritation and it smells FANTASTIC. It lasts all day, not sure about 24 hours since I usually shower twice a day. I do not get any funky smells wearing it, although I have yet to try a workout with it. That will be the ultimate test of how well it works. On a day to day basis so far though, I LOVE it! Highly recommend if you cant use natural deoderants with BS!
This is the third natural deodorant I've tried. The first one taught me that I react badly to formulas with baking soda, and since I've been searching for an alternative that works well for me.
Pros- This provides good protection against wetness. It goes on easily and absorbs completely. I don't see any visible residue, but I can feel it's working. And it doesn't irritate my skin.
Cons- The scent really doesn't last at all. Similarly, the odor protection doesn't last as long as I would like. If you have a long day, expect to reapply at least once. The scent itself is underwhelming. I would love to see a stronger and just better scent option available.
Overall, I do recommend giving this deodorant a try. I've had a good experience with it.
I received the original SoapWalla for my MightyFix one month. I loved the 24 hour odor- and sweat-protection it gave but not the initial rash and semi-permanent skin-darkening and calloused skin it gave my underarms (most likely from the baking soda). So I got the sensitive skin version. The citrus scent is a smidge strong but not horrible. The odor and sweat protection only lasted nine hours instead of a solid 24 hours. When this jar is empty, I’ll have to decide what’s worse - having to reapply because I get a little sweaty and pit stank or having calloused, extremely dark and initially itchy underarms. 😕
I got this in my monthly shipment. I had never tried anything like this. I’m hooked and will purchase this once I run out.
Meh. I originally recieved the orginal cream in the citrus scent and absolutely loved both the scent and the fact it actually worked and kept my pits free of body odor. However, I did not like the rash I broke out in my pits (I think it’s from the bakkng soda). I was super excited to try the sensitive formula, bonus it was available in the citrus scent, which I loved.
When I opened the container there was that lovely citrus scent. But when I stirred the contents, the smell became subdued. It had more of an earthy scent (from the moss perhaps) than the citrus I loved.
The smell also quickly faded on my body. Within 2-3 hours it stopped working and my pits became stinky. The longevity of the the sensitive formula did not live up to the original one (which lasted all day on me).
Additionally, some people may be a little turned off by the color of this cream, which is a greenish grey. However the couple times I used it, it seemed to absorb into the skin with little to no discoloration to my skin.
So in a nutshell I’m yet again looking for a new deodarant. I would be using Soapwalla’s original cream if only it didn’t leave a hideous rash. I really wish I could return the sensitve cream since it is kind of expensive.
I was trying this product to get away from using plastic and thought it came in a tin. Sadly I was wrong so being in a container like this just made it harder to apply. Also I found the strength of essential oils to irritation my skin and not work as well as other natural deodorant.
I received the regular deordorant in my fix and loved it. Decided to try the sensitive - but it was grey! So - I had nice grey armpits when I wore a sleeveless shirt - yuck.
