Natracare’s Organic Cotton Tampons with Applicator are naturally absorbent with a smooth easy-glide cardboard applicator, which is completely biodegradable. Just twist to release and push. 16 tampons per pack.

Natracare uses only cardboard and organic cotton to keep your vagina free from pesticide residues, plastic or toxic residuals or rayon. Conventional applicators are made from plastic or rigid bio-plastics, which commonly contain phthalates that can be absorbed and cause hormone disruption. Also, they don’t biodegrade, which increases worldwide plastic pollution. Many rayon-blend tampons have a plastic veil to prevent fiber loss and can have added perfume or dyes which are unnecessary to manage your period.

Similar to a popular T*m*x cardboard applicator of the past! I definitely prefer them over plastic or no applicator. I always start mine before inserting and then it works just fine. Every time. Regarding leakage, I have had that happen, but always use a pad in addition, so go more by time before switching it than leakage. Hope that helps someone

Love Them!
These are great! I feel so much better knowing that what I'm putting into my body is chemical free. Some of the applicators are a little difficult, but not too long ago they all use to be difficult. The tradeoff is worth it for me. Thank you for offering these!

They work great!
I love these tampons. They work great! I see many other women have problems with the applicator not having enough grip but, I have found that if you push the tampon up a little ways out of the applicator before you insert it it works perfectly. I like to use organic tampons so that I am not exposed to as many toxins. Very glad I have this option!

Tried these due to sensitivity
They work great and better for my body than regular tampons. Would give 5 stars but a couple of the applicators failed me.

They leak
They fail and leak about 50% of the time. I tried the Supers. My friend tried them too and they leaked for her too in the same way. Surprisingly, the tampon will be mostly white after the leak, but you have a long line of red on just one side of it and that's where the leaks was. So clearly the tampon does not leak due to being over saturated. We also tried the non-applicator variety by this brand in the Super Plus and those did not leak. The design on the applicator style makes the tampon get long and skinny instead of expanding fatter; The non-applicator style expands fatter and helps guard against leaks.

Terrible Applicator
The cardboard applicator has no real grip for your fingers so your fingers are constantly sliding while trying to insert. I gave up trying and just went to the store to grab regular tampons. I really wished these were designed better.
