I ordered this thinking it would be rougher, or more intense, but it's actually very gentle and turns out I like that! It leaves my skin feeling super soft and smooth, and even though there are oils in it, it doesn't leave my skin oily. It feels very nourishing. This by far is the best scrub I have ever used. The scent wakes you up. Gentle on the skin but has little scrubbies to create a perfect scrub.
