During his career working in the high-tech corporate world, Jeff Shardell learned that the deodorant he used daily was filled with harmful chemicals linked to cancer, Alzheimer's disease, and other illnesses. He realized his body was likely absorbing these nasty chemicals and decided something had to change. Jeff traded in his regular deodorant for the all-natural ones on the market, but was left sweaty and smelling like perfume. That's when he decided to take matters into his own hands. Jeff wanted to see if he could make a truly natural deodorant that actually worked, with as few ingredients as possible. After extensive research and a lot of trial and error in his San Francisco kitchen, Jeff stumbled onto a magic formula. Just 4 clean and simple ingredients would change the world of all-natural deodorants for good. Not only was Jeff's formula made from ingredients found in his own kitchen, but it was more effective at naturally beating odors than anything else out there. These days, Humble Brands is based in beautiful Taos, NM. Everything is made in-house, carefully handcrafted with the same less-is-more philosophy Jeff had at the outset. Our journey to produce the simplest, most effective personal care products has just begun, we're excited have you along!
