About Vejibag
Vejibag founder Sally Erickson is a real salad freak. When she moved to Maine she designed and built a solar greenhouse to feed her habit year-round. When harvest time arrived the first winter, she refused to insult her beautiful greens by selling them in plastic bags. Too many fresh vegetables turn to brown slime stored in plastic. An extensive search revealed a salad lover’s secret: humidity-loving vegetables don’t rot in damp cloth. Vejibag is a product that harms no one throughout its life cycle. Vejibag supports the physical, mental, spiritual and economic health of all stakeholders. Vejibag products can be reused or composted back to the soil without harm to the ecosystem. Vejibag uses no imports, period. Vejibag doesn't ship work overseas or buy materials across oceans, our organic cotton fabric sourced only in the United States. Products and processes are free from toxic substances. Vejibag's compensation practices for our people support a whole, balanced life.
