What Makes It Mighty?
- innovative beeswax and plant oil pod holds concentrated liquid and is fully compostable
- concentrated pods eliminate bulk of bottle and weight of water for streamlined shipping to lighten carbon footprint
- powerful plant-based grease cutting cleaners; each pod makes 13.5 ounces of dishsoap
- Only about 9% of plastic is ever recycled - Etee eliminates the plastic altogether
- Most dish soap is 90% water - why truck all that water around the world, burning extra carbon and making extra packaging, for something we all have at home?
- Powerful plant-based clean
- Compostable pod
- Etee beeswax is 100% organic and used with cruelty-free harvesting practices
Fully compostable; plastic-free except minor components for functionality (e.g. lids/pumps)
I think this is a great idea but when I open it most of the soap remains in the bee container. I cut the bee container to use it in the plans but it didn't integrate it with the soil. The soap is not as concentrate and you need to use more soap to wash the dishes.
I’ve been using this dish soap for a few months now. It works okay but it could be better. It doesn’t cut through grease well unless you wash something several times. It works the best when the concentrate is freshly mixed and is stronger. But after awhile it settles and as you use it, it becomes weaker. The packing is a great idea unless it’s warm. I’ve had it melt and leak. I really want to love this product but I think I’ll look for something that works better.
About etee
EVERYTHING TOUCHES EVERYTHING ELSE (ETEE) — and because we believe that Everything Touches Everything Else - we hate plastic. Okay, maybe that’s a bit harsh. But we really can’t stand single use plastics like plastic wrap, sandwich bags, grocery bags and cutlery. Every time we throw that stuff in the garbage we're hit with a pang of guilt and frustration because we know it's not good for our bodies or our planet. So we searched for a natural solution and got inspired by...KING TUT! Remember King Tut? Well, turns out his Ancient Egyptian brothers used beeswax and coniferous tree resins to preserve his body for nearly 3,000 years. Based on this ancient science, we had developed a reusable, natural and biodegradable way to keep food as fresh as plastic.
