I wasn't sure that a "green" dishwasher tablet would work on some of the stuff we put in our dishwasher. We have kids who put in some really tough stuff. Our grandson loves to experiment in the kitchen with things like, "what happens if I microwave chocolate frosting and marshmallows together for 5 minutes?". I won't promise these tabs will fix that, but if anything can, it would be these. (Most of) My dishes come out squeaky clean. Maybe not the experiment dishes, but it has cleaned some stuff I didn't think it could. I won't buy any others now. Not going back!
I use a half of tab like the other reviews suggested. My dishes come out clean and sparkly. I am not a pre- washer either.
We also cut the tablets in half and only use 1/2 per load. Everything comes clean, even the caked on crud.
I think we are on our 3rd month using these dishwasher tablets and are happy with them. We only use a 1/2 tablet for each load (I cut them all in half when we get them and store them in a glass jar) and everything is coming as clean as it was with our previous detergent without all the chemicals.
