Seasonal & Holiday Seasonal Green Cleaning Clearance Dishwashing Best Sellers Member Favorites Green Cleaning HouseholdI love this Swedish Dishcloth. It is the perfect size and I love how you can just pop it in the dishwasher and then sanitize it in the microwave and it’s good to go.
So I purchased this Swedish washcloth as a stocking stuffer for my mom in 2020....this may sound crazy...but she just...maybe about 6 months ago asked me to order her more saying that the one I had given her over 2 and a half years back had finally worn itself out and she needed another. Whhaaaaat??? She said she had used it religiously while washing dishes etc. And though my mom is the type that keeps everything to its pristine condition even when aged...i think saying this about a dish cloth speaks for itself...right???
Buy the Swedish dish cloth. It stands the test of time, apparently.
I've used these for years, and love having an assortment of patterns. These seasonal designs are lovely, and make great small gifts. The quality of these cellulose cloths is very good -- expect to get many use-wash cycles from them.
I have used these twice so far and have found them to be most excellent. A small paper towel placed between the cobbler and cover makes clean up a breeze.
I love these light weight dishcloths for easy clean up. they dry very quickly as well
These towels are amazing they are like sponges and soak up all of my kids’ messes all day long. I just squeeze them out rinse them and let them dry to be used again and again. When they get too dirty or are stained I throw them in the wash and they are good to go again. I have already bought 4 of these because I just love them so much!
And the ones on Amazon don’t compare at all these are the best Swedish washcloths I’ve ever bought!
I love love love these! I don't have a dishwasher so I hand wash my dishes everyday. These are amazing. The clean so well. They never smell. I either throw them in the washer or microwave them while they're damp whenever I feel like they need a clean. They hold up really well. They also don't flop and fold like regular dish rags do while in the water. I've given them as gifts because I love them so much!
I love the Swedish dishcloths. Our paper towel consumption is almost nonexistent, and I love that I can throw these into the washing machine when needed. They last a long time, and word hard.
These are a wonderful addition to my cleaning supplies. They are super cute too!
Love these washcloths. Have been using instead of paper towels. Love how you can just throw them in the wash to clean them.
Ok, so originally I wasn't really sold on these before I purchased it. It simply reminded me of gross smelly sponges. But I will say I am very pleasantly surprised. It's very sturdy and absorbent; so far I have no complaints and am instead surprised at how great these are. I'll definitely have to get another.
Who knew this cute little picture square would be such a good wash cloth. I've only used it 3 times and love it!
I bought one of these on a whim. When I got it I was a little confused. It is real stiff like cardboard before it gets wet. I was thinking this will never clean anything. They are super absorbent and can be thrown in the washer. Since I received this one I have bought a few more.
I have been using these for a while and their quality has held up. Great product. I mainly use them to clean up messes on the counter instead of paper towels. I have not used them to wash things really.
I bought these to replace paper towels but didn't like that they are stiff and if I use dry it doesn't really clean up a small amount of fluid well. I have vegetables containers that are supposed to keep vegetables longer and I always put in a paper towel to absorb the moisture since the containers don't work as well as they say they should. I put one of these in the top of the container and it really absorbed the water. I am ordering more just for this purpose and found the tidy dish cloths work better for my other needs. These do work well if you wet them and use them for cleaning.
I wanted to write an updated review because I previously gave these a two star rating due to a moldy smell, even after going through the wash. I started running them through the dishwasher instead of the washing machine, and haven't had any smell issues since! I love these, and will likely buy more when I need them.
I absolutely love these Swedish dish cloths. I have an 11 year old who leaves dirty finger prints EVERYWHERE and these cloths clean it right off without any work. They’re excellent counter top and table cleaners as well! I love them so much and when they get dingy I throw them in the laundry or in the dishwasher. SO MUCH BETTER THAN PAPER TOWELS! 😊
I have been looking for an economical and practical way to reduce the amount of paper towels we use in my house. I received a set of two Swedish dishcloths in my MightyFix subscription and I LOVE them! They are so durable and great for scrubbing. I've been using them to clean my countertops and stovetop (which I would have cleaned with paper towels before). We still use paper towels for some things but these have reduced a good amount of waste so far. I'm very happy with them!
Also - I've washed them in the dishwasher a few times now and they hold up beautifully.
I absolutely love these dishcloths... they say to "replace paper towels", but they are much more versatile. They are strong enough to wash dishes and clean up the most stubborn mess. You just throw them in the washer and dryer (with the laundry balls of course) and they are good to go.
I absolutely love the Swedish dish cloths! I use them for everything in my kitchen. I do wish I would have been given a better print (mine looks like a Swedish grandpa sweater print), so it's not the prettiest thing displayed on my kitchen counters!
I bought one of these just to try, and I really like it. They have the texture of a paper towel, but they are thick and really sturdy. I've used mine every single day for about a month and it hasn't shown any sign of wear yet. I just drape it over the faucet of the sink and it dries completely. These are very cool, will definitely be buying some more.
So I've been using these in my kitchen and bathroom for routine cleaning (which I love), but then I decided I would also try them in my shower routine! Voila! My new favorite "sponge" to use with my shower gels and soaps!
I use these dishcloths to wipe counters, spills, etc and I love them. They are very absorbent and easy to rinse out after use. Since I received 2 with my monthly subscription, I put one in the dishwasher every time I run it (every 2-3 days) to keep them clean.
I tried these out for the first time tonite, and they are fabulous! I was skeptical when they first arrived because theyre stiff and weird feeling when dry, but once they're wet, omg! They clean like a dream and feel like a super thick paper towel.. I'm going to order a bunch and try to cut out paper towels completely.
I’ve never been a sponge person because to me sponges don’t dry so quickly and so take on an odor, but not these. Perfect for clean up and they dry really quickly. I toss them into the dishwasher to refresh them. I’m finding I’m even using them Instead of paper towels.
I've always been a sponge girl. When it comes to washing dishes, rags just don't do it for me. I got these in my MF along with some dish soap I just happened to order the same month. I figured I'd give it a shot. These things definitely work. I may still use my sponges from time to time, but these cloths will definitely be a new addition to my kitchen.
I LOVE these Swedish Dishcloths. Quite a few years ago I started eliminating unnecessary waste from my life. I use dish towels instead of paper towels, have glass storage containers for leftovers, I've got lots of mason jars. carry reusable bags. I've got a steam cleaner for cleaning the floors and bathroom surfaces. All in all its been great. The one thing I hadn't be able to part with was a sponge to do my dishes. Dish cloths just didn't absorb enough, in stepped these and man on man! They are perfect, they absorb like a sponge and was up like a dream. I just throw them in the washing machine (don't have dishwasher)and hang to dry. <3
These things are great to use in place of paper towels. One use I found handy: you know how it's a good idea to include damp paper towels when wrapping up some veggies for storage? You can use these instead. They stay just the right dampness and keep their shape.
Absolutely love these. So nice to use... Everyone that sees and uses at my house loves them! Lifetime customer right here!
I am absolutely in love with these dishcloths. I've used one to clean my sink, counters, tables and stovetop. It is super absorbent, cleans without streaking so far and is all around amazing. I haven't used them to wash dishes since I have something else but theylse are probably going to replace my ppertowels in most instances. Fabulous product.
I love this. It really does a great job on my black range. It's the only cleaning product that hasn't left streaks. This has always been a big problem. I have used it for days and it still doesn't smell bad either.
These are super absorbant and no gross smell. I have used them to clean up spills on laminate floors, quartz counters, stove, and microwave. They are much more absorbant than paper towels . Just ring them out and continue wiping. Easily wash them on the top rack of the dishwasher or use hot soapy water in the sink. Also great on cleaning dishes.
I enjoy these cloths! They do a wonderful job of cleaning dishes, dry quickly, and do not develop the mildew smell. I launder them every few days. Mine did not have a sulfur smell at all, so perhaps the other reviewers got a bad batch?
These dishcloths come in bright, pretty designs and are wonderful to use. They dry quickly after use and don't get musty smelling like all cotton would. They are best for wiping down surfaces and washing flat dishes; not ideal for scrubbing.
I love the designs and how getting them wet enhances the textures. Mine did not have an odor when dry and only a faint trace when wet. I prefer a scrubby sponge for dishes but like rags for cleaning surfaces. I am curious how they are with staining.
Am bringing a few as gifts to my daughter and also a couple of friends when I visit next month. I think they can't help but love them too. Would be nice if there were a discounted price when you purchase more than one....because price is my only hesitation.
I've just ordered my third because i am in love with these dish cloths! They clean so much better than my regular dishcloths and even take care of all the water spots leaving my kitchen all sparkly. Love that they are so durable and fun at the same time! Makes doing dishes and cleaning my kitchen that much better!
These are the best dishcloths! They are just the right size and are very durable. It doesn't hurt that they have nice little patterns. I'm getting more!
This is a very pretty cloth and works great. I love that you can compost it after a while. We do use our cloths pretty heavily (large family, cook all meals at home), so after a month I'm already starting to see wear. Glad I tried it though.
I love that these are soft and absorbent. They clean really well and are much easier to use than sponges or regular dishcloths.
These Swedish Dishcloths are awesome! I thought they were rather strange because they were unusual but, my daughter told me I would love them and she was right! The first time I got one wet, I was amazed. I started using them for everything immediately! They quickly turned a dingy color which I don't care for at all but, they are so awesome that I won't stop using them. In four months with continual use, they have held up perfectly. There is no wear only the dingy appearance. I'm hoping they will start making these in colors so that the dingy appearance is not so obvious!
Got as a mightyfix. We already use cloth to wash dishes and counters with. These are really neat, but not very scrubby (even using the "scrubby" side). No issues with smells like other people have said. I really like having them on hand for when my young child has a spill since they absorb so much so quickly!
These are very surprising-in a good way! I wish they were a little bigger. I think they are on the small side when washing dishes.
I really love using these to wipe off my counter tops! The only problem is how stained they get, they look filthy even though I have cleaned them. I wish they came in dark colors to hide the stains!
The texture and material is great for cleaning. But how do you get them clean? We've washed in clothes washer & dishwasher. I think the instructions said "no conditioner," but can't find the card. We've had ours about 5 weeks. Ugly brown stains, probably coffee spills and stove cleanup residue.
These are decently absorbent, but for the price I think they're overrated! I can get regular cloth dishcloths for way less and they work just as well. These also have a funk for the first couple of times using them.
I received these in my MightFix and was really excited for the first couple weeks of using, but then they got a horrible moldy smell. I've washed them in the washing machine on a regular basis, and the smell is still there. I'm confused as to how they even got moldy, because they dry out so quickly! They do stain, although that doesn't bother me. They work great other than the smell!
So, so disappointed! I thought I was ordering tea towels, but those are dish cloths. Nice pattern but tiny.
Looks like I got a bad batch, too. When I first wet my washcloth, I got a huge waft of rotten egg smell. I emailed MightyNest about the issue and was told the following:
We did hear this complaint from a handful of other customers who received product from the same batch of towels. We reached out to the manufacturer and they explained that the biodegradable materials of the cloth are blended through a process that utilizes a sulfate mineral in the process. When the batch does not have ample air time prior to packaging, the smell is strong like you have experienced. It will dissipate over time and with air exposure.
Over time the smell has died, but I wish I would've been compensated for the inconvenience.
I really like the idea of these, but they smell so bad! My whole kitchen smelled of sulfur. I've only seen 1 other person complain of this so I don't know if we got a bad batch or what. I would love to use these, but I don't think I can. I just got one wet and the smell got worse.
I have had these for 3 months and haven't used them once as I make my own dishcloths and use them regularly. I don't like that while these are washable they have to be air dried rather than being safe for the dryer.
I couldn't stand to use the one I bought because once it got wet, it immediately smelled like burning rubber.
I loved the designs, so, without giving it much thought, I ordered several for myself and some more for gifts. Fortunately, I tried them before giving any away. I'll just say that mine only got used once, and all the others I ordered are still sitting in my closet and I have no. earthly. idea. what to do with them! They get so so stiff after use, and the smell is another matter entirely!
I never got to try these because they smelled so bad. As soon as i opened my package all i could smell is rotten eggs. I tried to wet them thinking that the smell would lessen and it was worse. We had to put our garbage in the garage because the smell was so strong and wouldn't go away. I liked the design on the towel but that smell just ruined it for me.
