The award winning Laundry Egg by Ecoegg is an environmentally friendly and hypoallergenic alternative to laundry detergent. It completely replaces normal detergent - no liquid or powder required. The Laundry Egg holds powerful natural cleaning pellets which activate in the water and are scientifically proven to gently lift away dirt and grime. The white mineral pellets and dark tourmaline pellets inside the egg work by producing a cleaning foam which powers through the fibers lifting off the dirt. The tourmaline ceramic pellets weaken the bonds between the dirt and fabric while the mineral pellets ionize the oxygen molecules in the water which then penetrate deep into the fabric lifting away the dirt and grime without fading colors or damaging fibers.

FANTASTIC!
This lovely little thing is wonderful. I admit I was doubtful. This is better than the experience detergents. I look forward to doing laundry now. I use my dryer balls to finish up.

Best eco detergent
I love that eco egg is self contained and can be used for cold water washes! It is super cost effective, cleans well, and it helps reduce waste!

Ichthyosis and Eczema Mom Approved!
I have a little one with extremely sensitive skin... he is allergic to so many chemicals and other ingredients in cleaning products. I had heard about the EcoEgg a while back in a frugal life group on social media, but had yet to take the plunge. When I saw MightyNest had it, and it was cheaper than elsewhere... I knew I had to buy one to try!
This is truly an amazing product! Our clothes feel very clean, absolutely no scent is left behind (not even perfumes/oils/deodorants on clothes that most detergents leave behind), and they feel soft! Most importantly - it's SAFE for my son with ichthyosis and eczema. I feel like this stuff is even better than most free & clear detergents on the market.
My husband is a chef and it clean his coats and pants very well, removes any grease. So, it's great for heavy duty laundry! He felt it got rid of food smells better than our other free & clear detergents.
It is SO easy to load and to use and cost effective. I don't know how I went my whole life without this stuff, it works SO well! I am truly sold on the EcoEgg!

Amazing
I was skeptical but after reading the reviews here decided to give this a shot. It is amazing.
It works!!!!!
Used it in several different temps and cycles and it works. The clothes get clean, there’s no odors and I need nothing else. I either air dry or with wool dryer balls in the dryer and the clothes look great and feel soft. Don’t even need a vinegar rinse.
I don’t know how long it will last yet, but already ordered the refill kit.

I was skeptical
I genuinely didn't believe this would work, but I read some reviews and figured I should at least give it a chance since it would save me a ton of packaging waste and money from our regular laundry detergent. I'm so blown away. even the nastiest of dirty work clothes come out smelling clean. And as an added bonus, my boyfriend's very sensitive skin has felt exponentially better since ditching our normal laundry detergent.

Love this laundry egg
I bought this on a whim. Praying it worked. I am really surprised how much I love it. Our clothes smell like fresh water. No perfumes, body odors are gone, light stains have come right out. I am working on no pretty (but toxic) smells. But this is better for me and my husband. Buying a second one for my daughter.

Laundry egg
It sounds too good to be true but it works for lightly soiled clothes. It was not effective for kids body odor or urine smell.

Still not sure about this
Used it 5 times so far. Just not sure about it yet. For the 1st 20 or so minutes, you cannot see any soap in the tub. Then you can finally see some. But by the end of the wash, 3 minutes left, there's so much soap in the tub. I'm unsure how it is supposed to actually rinse out of your close since with every rinse the machine does, this activates more soap! So in the end it comes down to your machine spinning out the soap, not actually washing it out of your clothes.

Great concept
While I throughly enjoy the idea of this egg it is not "apartment friendly" in the design as the hard plastic is very loud in the washing machine. It would be the perfect product should they be able to come up with a better material for the egg.

Not meant for users in an apartment
I enjoy this idea and it works well however as this is in a hard plastic shell, that is very noisy in my washer. During the entire wash cycle I can hear it hitting against the drum of the washer. This is great if you have your laundry room completely separate from the rest of your living space.
