I love being able to replace plastic wrap in my kitchen. Easy to clean, just toss it in the dishwasher.

I had been wanting to try Bee Wrap to reduce my use of plastic wrap so I was thrilled to receive this in my Mighty Fix! It works great for lunch boxes and storing left overs. It easily seals to itself keeping food fresh. It didn't seal as tight around the edges of a large salad bowl, but it worked well enough to use instead of single use wrap. I'm very happy with this product and the fact that it helps me use less disposable plastic.

I received these in my mighty fix and was so excited to try them. I used it to wrap half an avocado. 2 days later the avocado was still green!! Not one brown spot. I was sold right then. Make sure you wash in cool water. I noticed they were really stiff at first but after a couple uses and washes the are soft and pliable. LOVE THEM!!!!

Love these wraps!!! I returned for a pack of Larges as they’re perfect for wrapping up lunches. One large wrap lasted me almost an entire year (out of my own stubbornness over anything else) but it’s finally time to restock and ai knew I’d be buying here again!

These wraps are amazing!!! We've been using them after our cook-outs. It keeps the food fresh (unlike plastic wrap), plus you get to reuse them! I love the smell of beeswax. So happy to have received this product as my Mighty Fix and discover this amazing bee's wrap from Vermont!

I've been using these for about six months now and I love them! I have all but eliminated plastic wrap. These are not liquid-tight and I wouldn't use them for something sticky like dough, but otherwise they work for 99% of my kitchen wrap needs. If you take a moment to warm the wrap with your hands around a dish or around itself, it will stick.

Love these for cheese!
I got two of these as my Mighty Fix and have used them both over and over for hard cheeses. They are perfect! Wrapping them in plastic or putting them in sandwich bags tends to allow moisture to form, but this wrap keeps it all nice and dry, very like the original packaging.
I bought large sets for each of my children and am anxious to see how they like them.

Great plastic wrap alternative
We have loved using these as an alternative to plastic wrap. I find it even easier to deal with than plastic wrap! (which I always found annoying, got stuck to the wrong things and itself, etc.). Once I figured out the trick of using my hand heat to hold for a few seconds to create a seal, I haven't had any issues. Absolutely love.

Used these first when I made bread and wanted to cover the pan tightly when the bread needed to rise. Works great! Add these to some glass bowls for a cute gift!

Here's how to seal a bowl.
I like the wrap. It does take some getting used to, but I'm going to buy more. I have found the trick to sealing the wrap around a bowl is by doing pinches all the way around (like a pie crust). Pinch, fold over, pinch, fold over... hopefully that helps.

They smell wonderful!
I cannot fathom why so many reviews say these "stink". They smell like beeswax and it's a lovely, pleasant smell. Also, it's not like you can smell them unless you are pretty much holding them in your hands. I'm very pleased with mine so far.

I LOVE this product. It works amazingly well and has the pleasant beeswax smell when warmed. I did ruin one of my wraps by washing in warm water. But lesson learned

These are wonderful.....so easy to solidly wrap up whatever needs wrapping, while keeping food really fresh. I'm amazed every time I pull out a half avocado from a day or two earlier.....no oxidization. They travel well for an outing too. Between these wraps and the stretch storage tops for bowls and dishes, no plastic is ever required. And I love the smell of beeswax, so it's all good :)

Warning: Be patient with the smell
I will be the first to admit that when you open a fresh package of Bee's Wrap, the smell is super strong. I will also admit that after some use the smell definitely fades away. You must be patient with the smell!
Now that the smell has toned down on mine I love these! I've wrapped half a watermelon, bell peppers, leftovers from dinner (that I first wrapped in waxed paper then sealed with these because there was fish in it and I didn't want to make them stink!) I've covered many bowls and they just keep on working. I'm definitely going to be getting more!

I REALLY love this product! Have not had any of the smell issues that others mentioned in the reviews? You might consider opening it up and airing it out a bit before using. Keeps my homemade bread so soft and moist. Just rinse with slightly warm water if it gets soiled. Read instructions that come with it. Love getting away from plastic and plastic containers one product at a time!!

This product is so amazing!
This product is so amazing! I never write reviews but was inspired to do so because of all the negative reviews out there. While I understand how some folks might not like the smell, I happen to LOVE it. It smells just like yummy beeswax, springtime, and deliciousness. I used the wrap to cover up half an avocado, and it was STILL GREEN 4 days later, with no brown spots! It is also super easy to clean off and is a beautiful product. I just ordered three more.

We really love these. I received the small/medium sizes in my monthly subscription and they are fun to use, easy to wash and reuse (wash in cold water!) and they do not smell. The tiny fragrance when you first open them is beeswax. That's it. You know when using it, you are not adding chemical laden plastic wrap to your foods. It seals great, wraps easily. We really love it and my kids think it's really cool. It surprises us how often it comes in handy.

I love these! I received
I love these! I received them in my first MightyFix shipment. Yes, the scent is strong at first, but it dissipates after a few uses and rinses. I had one on a block of my favorite smokey Swiss cheese in the refrigerator for a couple of weeks, and I did not notice any of the flavor or scent of the wraps on the cheese. Maybe some people are just more sensitive to scents than others, but I love mine!

These wraps are awesome! Yes, the smell is strong but it is a lovely smell. I have used mine to wrap fresh ginger, parsley, and other veggies. (The wraps keep my fresh parsley fresh and crisp for 2 weeks!) I don't find that the smell has transferred to the food itself, however, I haven't used them for bread or similar things which may hold the smell more. I much prefer using these than plastic.
I have purchased 3 more since my first shipment. Couldn't be happier!

Great product - lovely smell if you like beeswax
Got this product in my MightyFix package, and was excited to try it since I'd seen it at a local farm store. It works really well, does indeed soften with each use (and warms to your hand), and I really like the smell! So if you're someone who generally dislikes the smell of natural beeswax, you won't enjoy the scent. Their website says it dissipates over time though.

I adore these!
I LOVE these wraps. I received mine in my Mighty Fix shipment and I'm getting ready to order more so I can get rid of my plastic wrap. I know a lot of reviews have mentioned that the smell is strong. Guess what? I LOVE the smell. It smells sweet, and every time I smell it it makes me happy. It reminds of how natural this product is. This product is a MUST for all households in reducing the use of plastic!

I love this stuff
I absolutely love Bee's Wrap.
Yes, when it's brand new it smells distinctly of beeswax, but I didn't find it overpowering... and the odor nearly disappears after a little bit of use. I usually use it to wrap cheese; it lets the cheese breathe a little bit (but doesn't dry out), unlike plastic bags or plastic wrap.
There's something wonderful tactile and satisfying about it -- it just has a bit of an "old world" kind of feel to it, and it hearkens back to an earlier era, before everything was hermetically sealed and so sterile (and plastic!).

Good for certain uses only
I pretty much use this just to cover the top of a bowl that will be in the refrigerator a short time and isn’t super sensitive to being exposed to air (make-ahead salads for example). Hand washing in cool water doesn’t make me feel like it’s getting super clean so wouldn’t use for anything too messy. I’m not sure how to tell when it is worn out, either
It’s okay, but not a game changer for me.

Love eliminating single-use plastic. It smells great and absolutely works for keeping bread, veggies/fruit fresh. However, I decided to see if it would work with dough - like a pie crust dough that has to be made and then refrigerated for an hour or so. The answer is NO. Bees wrap doesn't work well with sticky things, unlike plastic wrap. And in order to get the stickiness off, I had to scrape a little of the beeswax too. The sheet still works well and I will continue to use them for produce and sandwiches.

great for wrapping food
Love these wraps. I wrapped some cheese in and it works great. However, trying to cover a bowl was less successful. It just wouldn't stick. I did notice the smell that others have mentioned, but it didn't really bother me. I know that I am making a good change and I can look past the natural smell of the product. Overall a great product!

I love the beeswax! I like that you can wash and reuse it. The only issue I've had with it is it sticking to the bowl very well, but it works and I prefer it to plastic wrap. It sticks to itself very well if you're just wrapping something. I love the smell of it too. I've read many reviews about the smell but I don't have an issue with it at all.
Review by taimiylinen on 6/25
I feel like I need 10 to really make a dent in my plastic use. I haven't had much luck getting the wrap to stick to dishes, but plastic doesn't stick well either. I did stick the wrap to itself and used it to store cookie dough and it worked great. Some people have mentioned the smell... it smells like bees wax. I love it. If you hate the smell of honey or bees wax, then no, you probably won't like the smell.

sticking problem solved?
I think I might have figured out the problem with sticking/not sticking. I got my bees wraps in the winter. I live in a cold climate, and it is widely understood that in the winter the humidity of our homes is pretty close to desert-like. I could not get these wraps to stick to anything, no matter what I did. The old "warmth of your hands" trick was completely ineffective. Tried them this summer and they work fine. I guess they are more suited to climates that don't require months of home heating, or, alternatively, should be saved for use in the warmer months.

Still don't know how I feel
I want to love bees wrap. I've tried to love it, but I feel like there's a trick I'm missing. As others have said, I can't get them to seal around bowls. I've wrapped halves of cucumbers and apples in them successfully, but it takes some manhandling to get the wrap soft enough to form a good seal. I haven't tried wrapping bread, but I would worry about getting it to be air tight. The tactile sensation of wrapping things with the bees wrap is nice, so sometimes I use it just as a treat for myself. Ultimately, though, it seems much easier to just use a silicone cover or glass dish with an air tight lid.
As for the smell that people have mentioned--I don't notice it. I mean, they smell like beeswax, but its not remotely overpowering. I have to actually think about it to notice its there.

A good idea but...
I was excited about these wraps but my family was less so. They couldn't get over the beeswax smell and taste that is imparted onto the food. I probably could've gotten used to it but c'est la vie. If your family is sensitive to smells and tastes, then try a small size first before investing in all sizes.
Review by greennon on 3/21
good in theory...
I like that it is reusable, but I didn't find it very effective.
I tried to use it to cover a glass dish containing warm liquid and it wouldn't seal. I had to put a rubber band on it to keep in on and I didn't feel very confident putting it in the frig. I heard if you warm it, it will seal better. It just doesn't seem worth it to me given the smell and stickiness of it. :(

I really like the idea behind this product. To make this short and sweet I will rate this categorically using pros and cons.
If you like the smell if bees wax, you will like the smell of these
Easy to clean
Portable (takes up small space and easily used during camping, backpacking, etc)
When warm they mold easier
When cold they retain their shape
Easy to store
Prevents plastic from becoming landfill waste
If you don't like the smell of bees wax, you wont like the smell of these
They will not form a seal no matter how hard you try
Not good to seal liquids (see above)
Expensive. At between $3 and $4 for a roll of plastic wrap, unless you are using a LOT of plastic wrap, it would take the average family about a year to recoup their money
Seem to break down within 3 months of regular use. See comment above
If your main reasoning for buying these is to prevent plastic wrap from ending up in landfills, then they are an OK choice. However, unless you are short on space (camping, backpacking, traveling, apartment size refrigerator, lack of cabinet space, etc.) then using glass containers suck as Kilner jars or similar is a far better alternative
Personally, I will not buy these again for home use but may consider them for our traveling/camping excursions where weight and space is an issue
Review by amisaacs on 3/18
I really love the idea of these wraps, however I just cannot get past the smell. The concept of using these and cutting down on plastic waste is admirable, but the resin in these wraps make them quite intolerable to use because of its odor. Unfortunately, I used one of these wraps to to wrap up my homemade baguettes, and the bread absorbed the funky scent making it pretty much inedible.

Does not work
I received this in my Mighty Fix and have tried to use it for many things. I have not found a single type of container that it will stick to nor does it stick to itself. I would like to replace plastic wrap in my household but, sadly, this is not the answer.

Smelly and sticky
These didn't work for me. They not only smell, but whatever you wrap in them smells and tastes weird.
Review by Lisa on 6/27
no better than a paper towel over a bowl
A cloth towel over a bowl would seal it more. I try to "warm it up" so it seals, but it just hovers over the bowl like a stiff paper towel. Wish I could return it but was part of my Mighty Fix. And I already had one set. Won't even regift, at least not to anyone I know!

The resin has started to ball up off of the fabric. I can't use it anymore as the resin now gets on the food : (

Not too impressed
I was excited to receive this but the second I got it and washed it according to directions, it started flaking everywhere. My only thought is maybe I used tap water that was a little bit too warm and it had a negative effect on the bees wax? Anyway, it only happened to one of them and there were 2 in the package so I was still able to try out the other one but just wasn't impressed at all. I couldn't get it to seal around any bowls and had trouble seeing the uses for it really. I'll be honest, I RARELY use plastic wrap or plastic bags, I have lots of varying sizes of glass bowls with lids from super small to quite large. Because of that I just don't really use plastic wrap or little plastic bags for food very often. So I ended up tossing them out after a few attempts.

I REALLY wanted this to work. I'd like nothing more than to eliminate plastic wrap from our house. But the smell and the stickiness combined with the fact that I can't get it to stick to anything? This was a $10 loss. I tried heating it before I stuck it to something. Nope. I tried sticking it to a hot dish. Nope. And it imparted an odd flavor to my food. I'll stick with reusable containers, thanks. :(
Review by chatterboxxx on 12/24
Not a fan. The weird smell. Doesn't hold seal. Adds odd flavor to things it touches.
Got this in my MightyFix and it has me thinking about canceling my subscription. If MightNest is just going to send the product that has low reviews and they can't move, then what's the point in the monthly?
Review by nwhitern42 on 12/5
I was really looking forward to these. I had such high hopes. Sadly, I'm very disappointed. I can't seem to get the knack of making even a rudimentary seal. I suppose they might be useful for completely wrapping small items, like a hunk of cheese, but that's not what I use plastic wrap for.

I like this idea...I wanted to love these. The smell is very strong, and it doesn't seal to dishes even with the warmth of your hands. Not sure I will use these again.
