What Makes It Mighty?

  • 100% breathable linen
  • water-based dyes
  • dual purpose bread storage and serving basket
Description

A linen bread bag is the perfect way to store your bread products. It’s both sustainable and eco friendly, gets rid of the need for bulky bread bins and allows you to say goodbye to plastic bag storage. The linen bag allows the bread to breathe and helps to keep bread fresher for longer. Perfect for storing loaves, rolls and delicious artisan breads including sourdough and rye.

Turn the top down on your bread bag to create a pretty basket for serving bread and rolls at the table. With a handy cotton loop for hanging, it’s great for kitchens with minimal counter space. These beautiful and practical bags are hand printed in Helen Round’s Cornish studios using water based inks and are made by a small team of artisan makers. A must have for bread lovers!

So pretty on the counter

I love my bag! I make bread regularly and this works great for bread I make or bread loafs I buy. It isn't air tight or course,so works best for bread that is used up quickly.

Agree it is not for cut loaves

As a diabetic, I don’t eat much bread. Sandwiches on loaf bread and sandwich thins. Store bought loaf bread that is already sliced dries out quickly in this bag.

Review by Linda on 6/18
Really wanted to love this, but...

This bag looks beautiful and seems well made. It might be ok for uncut loaves or rolls, but once I start taking slices, the loaf stale within a couple of days. It did work better for me to put the whole thing away in the cupboard (less airflow than out on the counter or hanging up). The bread doesn’t mold since it dries out so fast, so that’s a plus. Currently I’m storing the linen bag inside an unsealed ziploc bag hoping to find a happy medium until I discover a better bread storage solution. Bottom line: if you are looking to store cut loaves of bread, and it takes you more than a couple of days to go through a loaf, you should probably keep searching.
