These are great! My husband also twisted a bag up and put it through the middle hole which held the bag well too. They come in a covenant tube to keep them in which I love.
I like these, they hold well to bags, but it's tricky to get them on. They don't give at all, and unless you have a thin bag or work at it it's hard to get it on well enough to keep it closed. It's not my favorite chip clip but we do use them.
These bag clips look and feel lovely. However, they're rather difficult to use. You'll need to fold your bag neatly in order to force feed it into the small slit of these clips. It feels like too much air can still get into the bag. The clip only allows a small portion of bag to be inserted. If you're really good at fancy folding techniques and squeezing much of the width of a bag into a thing folded area they'll work. Otherwise, we prefer the ones with springs.
These are made of real wood & have a lovely, smooth finish & a nice design. However, I found them difficult to use. Once on, these hold the bag closed very well, and are not difficult to remove. However, getting them on is not easy. The smooth finish made them difficult to grip while feeding the bag fold into the divot on the edge. I felt like I needed 3 hands. One to hold the clip & two to hold the bag taut so it wouldn't crumple when I tried to put the clip on.
They are sustainable, but are big enough that they don't work well on my chips. I will not order again.
