When your dog is cowering because of a thunderstorm or exhibiting stress behaviors because you are leaving the house for the day, Calming for Dogs is the perfect way to support calm behaviors without sedation and no herbals.

ABOUT THE FORMULA:
Colostrum Calming Complex® Biopeptide Blend—Colostrum Calming Complex® is isolated from colostrum proteins, which have a calming effect on animals. These bioactive proteins have been found to support cognitive function and help manage normal stress.
L-Theanine supports calming, relaxation and balanced behavior. L-Theanine has been extensively researched for its ability to reduce stress, anxiety, and unwanted behavior. L-Theanine is a naturally occurring amino acid found in green tea that is a derivative of the neurotransmitter glutamic acid. It helps the body produce other calming amino acids, such as dopamine, GABA and tryptophan and it helps bring certain neurotransmitters into balance.
Thiamine (Vitamin B1) helps manage stress and reduces irritability. Thiamine has been shown to affect the central nervous system to help calm and soothe anxious animals. A lack of thiamine can cause mental confusion, muscular weakness, muscle spasms, nervousness, reduced appetite, or weight loss during periods of stress.
CAUTION: If animal’s condition worsens or does not improve, stop product administration and consult your veterinarian.
WARNING: Keep out of reach of children and animals. Your pet may consider this a treat. In case of accidental overdose, contact a health professional immediately.

We have a rescue that we adopted as a 6 to 8 week old puppy that is very skittish and will start to shake, almost violently, when it thunders. She is 2 now and seems to have gradually gotten worse. I don’t really know why or how but this stuff works!!! It however does make her sleepy but I don’t care. There was a storm the other night and she was so calm. She would pop her her head up if the thunder was really loud but she never started shaking or moved from her spot. We will continue to see how this product works for her.
