Colorful vegetarian recipes that are simple to make! The Forest Feast for Kids (2016) is an adaptation of Erin's first book, The Forest Feast, and is meant for kids to cook from themselves, with an adult. The target age is 8-12, however younger or older kids may also enjoy it. The book is vegetarian and the goal is to get kids cooking with more fruits and vegetables by looking at these simple, diagram-like, photo-illustrated recipes. It features the most kid-friendly recipes from the first book, plus several new ones, including menus for parties that kids can host. Also included are watercolor-illustrated pages on kitchen tools and how to cut certain vegetables.
This book includes:
- 40 recipes for meals, parties, snacks and beverages
- Step-by-step, easy-to-follow visual directions
- Illustrated utensil and technique guide
- Glossary of culinary terms
