Some herbs need to be simmered to release flavor and medicinal qualities, but I'm often too busy to tend the stovetop process. With this bottle, I just place the loose herbs into it, pour boiling water onto them and let them steep for a few hours. The removable strainer insert allows me to pour the tea into a cup after removing the large cap. For drinks that are not too hot to drink straight from the bottle, just unscrew the top cap to drink from the smaller opening.
