Recycled Art Project
Kids have an amazing ability to see the beauty and possibility in the most mundane of objects. Give ‘em a wine cork, bit of wire, egg carton, and a few plastic lids and voilà: space shuttle! Using items rescued from the trash or recycling bin challenges young minds much more than the usual foam stickers and googly eyes. Encourage creativity, save money on craft supplies, and teach kids about the environment, all at the same time! You’ll be amazed at what your kids come up with.
When you’re done, take a pic of your child’s creation and share it. Taking a photo is also a great way to preserve precious art projects forever, without cluttering up the house.
